Lynn Loftis is an experienced trial attorney who possesses a vast background of knowledge and skills she will utilize to help you reach your goals.  Ms. Loftis has superior experience both in the courtroom and in legal writing to help you if your case must be litigated.  She also has outstanding negotiating skills which may enable you and your opponent to reach an agreement before going to court.

Ms. Loftis also has extensive training and experience in dealing with special victims who have been subject to physical or mental abuse. Additionally, she has a real world understanding of the problems and issues all clients face in dealing with divorce, custody and other family law issues, and the emotional trauma they face during this time.

Ms. Loftis was a special victims prosecutor for the Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office for six years, during which time she gained invaluable knowledge as a trial attorney.  As an Assistant District Attorney, Ms. Loftis successfully prosecuted at jury trial approximately forty-five cases involving charges ranging from assault and battery with a dangerous weapon to murder in the first degree, including several trials in which the death penalty was sought.  Ms. Loftis primarily prosecuted charges relating to special victims, including rape, lewd or indecent acts against a child and forcible oral sodomy.  Since going into private practice, Ms. Loftis has successfully defended several of clients at jury trial, obtaining either not guilty verdicts on behalf of her client or received a hung verdict, meaning the jury could not agree on whether her client was guilty or not.

Ms. Loftis also spent three years writing death penalty opinions for the federal court in Oklahoma City, the United States District Court of Western Oklahoma.  During this period, she obtained superior legal research and writing skills which she currently utilizes in her practice researching the law and preparing briefs and motions as needed for her clients.  Because of her writing background, which also includes two years of teaching law students legal research and writing, Ms. Loftis now devotes some of her private practice to appellate work to help those who have received a bad legal ruling or decision appeal that decision to higher courts.

Ms. Loftis also possesses a business and financial background, and obtained her M.B.A. in finance prior to entering law school, which aides her in understanding any complicated financial issues her clients may possess.

Ms. Loftis stands ready to help you fight whatever battle you may be facing, and will utilize all the skills she possesses in that fight.  Ms. Loftis will also listen to your concerns and wishes and will work to obtain the outcome you hope for, as she firmly believes the client is ultimately in charge of his or her case.  She welcomes your inquiries.
